Embarrassing moments

 

I am famous for my absent-mindness, especially when I’m too busy. One of my recurring problems is that I forget to pick up the food that my wife has prepared for me for the day. Given my current dietary restrictions, it’s not a very smart move.

 

The other day, however, I did remember to bring my food. I packed my lunch bag myself, putting a soup, a small chili and a few more items (most of them from my wife’s store, KW Empanadas, which I will talk about in my next post). I went to work at this hospital in Toronto, and even though I was very concentrated in what I was doing, I did notice that I was getting hungry.

 

So… I went to the Tim Hortons inside the hospital, and proceeded to buy exactly the same food I had brought: a small chili. I came back to the office, only to find my lunch right there.

 

Because I had actually taken it out of the lunch bag already! I’m hopeless…

 

 

Soy tristemente famoso por mis distracciones, especialmente cuando estoy ocupado. Uno de mis problemas recurrentes es que me olvido de llevarme la compida que mi esposa me ha preparado para el día. Dadas mis actuales restricciones dietarias, no es algo muy inteligente lo que hago.

 

El otro día, sin embargo, si recordé traer mi almuerzo. De hecho, me preparé el bolso yo mismo, poniendo una sopa, un chili y otros items (la mayoría del negocio de Gaby, KW Empanadas, del cual les hablaré en mi próximo post). Fui a trabajar a este hospital en Toronto, y si bien estaba muy concentrado en lo que estaba haciendo, noté que me estaba agarrando el hambre.

 

Entonces… me fui al Tim Hortons dentro del hospital y procedí a comprar exactamente lo mismo que había traído: un chili con carne.Volví a la oficina y me encontré con mi almuerzo original esperándome ahí.

 

Ah, sí, porque hasta ya lo había sacado de mi bolsa de comida! No tengo cura…
