We were walking around Waterloo Park, a very nice green space near uptown Waterloo that features a small lake, a playground and even a small pet zoo. The kids, still learning all about the new city (and the new language), were running around looking and touching everything. Suddenly, Carolina found the zoo. She has always loved pets, so she came back running at full speed to communicate the exciting news. That excitement caused her to forget the words she wanted to say, because this is what we heard:

 

- Come and see!!! There’s a… a… a… a school!!!!

Estábamos paseando por Waterloo Park, un muy lindo parque en pleno centro de la ciudad que tiene un pequeño lago, juegos y hasta un pequeño zoológico. Los chicos, aún en plena etapa de descubrimiento de la ciudad (y del inglés), correteaban por todos lados mirando y tocando todo. En eso, Carolina encontró el zoológico. Amante de los animales como ha sido siempre, volvió corriendo a todo lo que daba para comunicarnos la noticia. La emoción le hizo olvidarse las palabras correctas, porque esto fue lo que le salió:

 

- Vengan a ver!!! Acá hay un… un… un… una escuela!!!!
