Tolerance

I said this to a friend and colleague this morning, but then I thought it was good enough of a phrase to be posted here. I think it describes human nature very well, and it’s also very accurate for the difficult moments the Argentine society is going through these days. I said:

Why can’t everybody be more like me, so I don’t have to learn how to tolerate people?

Sad, right? Unfortunately, I find it appropriate.

 

 

Le dije esto en broma a un amigo y colega esta mañana, pero después pensé que la frase estaba lo suficientemente buena como para compartirla aquí. Creo que describe bien nuestra naturaleza, y también es muy adecuada para los difíciles momentos que la sociedad argentina está pasando por estos días. Dije:

Por qué no serán todos como yo, así no tengo que esforzarme en aprender a tolerar a los demás?

Triste, no? Pero lamentablemente, encuentro a esta frase bastante apropiada.
