It's strange. I watched Angel Cabrera win the US open tonight, and was very happy. Same happened when I watched the San Antonio Spurs win the NBA title the other day, with Ginobili and Oberto playing so well.
I felt proud. Just because those guys come from the same place I come from. I don't know them, and at least in the case of Cabrera, I don't even like the sport he plays too much. Still, it was great to watch an Argentine do so well.
I like the fact that I'm able to feel proud of people I don't even know, though.
