Embarrassing moments
I'm in the middle of one of my famous 'Gabriel on tour' trips. I have been in Louisville, KY since Monday and then left to Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday evening, as I had to work at a hospital nearby on Thursday and Friday. I had booked my trip last week and I thought I had it all perfect. Still, since I trust myself less and less every day, I checked my reservation again on Wednesday at noon, just to make sure that everything was OK. Well, it wasn't.
Instead of having booked a hotel in Milford, MA (about 40 miles from the airport), I had booked one in Milford, Connecticut (170 miles from Boston)!!! Embarrassed, I called and made the corresponding cancellation... and I had to tell them why I was cancelling.
Yes, it could have happened to anybody... Provided that he/she is as stupid as I am…

Había reservado mi viaje la semana pasada y pensaba que estaba todo perfecto. Pero como cada vez confío menos en mi cabeza, por las dudas chequeé mis reservas de nuevo el miércoles al mediodía, sólo para asegurarme de que todo estuviera bien. Bueno, no lo estaba.
En lugar de haber reservado un hotel en Milford, MA (a unas 40 millas del aeropuerto), había reservado uno en Milford, Connecticut (a 170 millas de Boston)!!! Muerto de vergüenza, tuve que llamar y hacer la cancelación correspondiente... explicando el motivo.
Sí, le podría haber pasado a cualquiera... Mientras ese cualquiera sea tan estúpido como yo...
