Once again, the shopaholic teenager in the house is the victim of my impeccable timing and unparalleled wit. Or so I think.

 

- I would like to buy me a Gucci belt, but they are too expensive…

- (Looking at him from head to toes) For that waist, and to combine with the clothes you normally wear? Just go get some rope and voilà.

 

The good thing is that they know I’m just kidding, so he laughed with me. One of these days, though, I’m afraid my kids might take me seriously. They haven’t so far, so that’s a good sign. Or not!

 

 

Nuevamente, el teenager adicto a las compras es la víctima de mi timing impecable y mi sabiduría sin paralelos. Al menos así me la creo yo.

 

- Me quiero comprar un cinturón Gucci, pero sale mucho dinero...

- (Mirándolo de arriba a abajo) Con esa cinturita, y para esas ropas? Dejate de joder y usá una soga.

 

Lo bueno es que mis chicos saben que no hablo en serio, así que mi hijo rió conmigo. Tiemblo de pensar que un día me puedan a llegar a tomar en serio. Hasta ahora no lo han hecho nunca, así que eso es buen signo. O mejor dicho, no lo es!
