We’re driving up those 800 km (OK, 777 to be precise) because Santi has been called up to play three games for the city’s “A” team this weekend. He didn’t do bad at all so far, as he’s been called for four games so far and has scored two goals already (both with a header, by the way).
He has two games on Saturday (at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM) and then another one on Sunday (at 11:00 AM). Then we’re leaving again, driving 779 km SE to Skootamatta Lake, where we will spend a week along with Gaby, the kids, my brother Guillermo (a) Necochino and his family.
I wish I could say it’s the first time we’re going to drive almost 2,000 km in two days… even this very week, but nope, as we did it on Sunday evening too, when we drove all the way down to Washington DC for Gaby’s birthday and to leave Caro and Juan with my brother for a few days…
Oh, I know we’re absolutely crazy, that’s not news to me. Even the lady at the CDN border thought the same (you can read about that tomorrow).
Cuando lean este post, yo voy a estar probablemente almorzando con Santi camino a Sault Ste. Marie, ON desde Waterloo.
Manejaré unos 800 km (OK, 777 para ser exactos) porque Santi fue llamado para jugar tres partidos para el equipo “A” de nuestra ciudad este fin de semana. No le ha ido muy mal hasta ahora, ya que jugó cuatro partidos en los que ya hizo dos goles (y ambos de cabeza).
Tiene dos partidos el sábado (a las 11:00 AM y las 7:00 PM) y luego otro el domingo (a las 11:00 AM). Luego salimos otra vez, manejando 779 km al SE para ir a Skoottamatta Lake, donde nos quedaremos por una semana con Gaby, los chicos, mi hermano Guillermo (a) Necochino y su familia.
Ojalá pudiera decirles que es la primera vez que voy a manejar casi 2,000 km en dos días… ni siquiera puedo decir que es la primera vez en esta semana, porque lo hicimos también el pasado domingo por la noche, cuando manejamos hasta Washington DC para celebrar el cumple de Gaby y dejar a Caro y Juan con mi hermano por unos días…
Oh, ya sé que estamos completamente locos, no es novedad para mí. Incluso la señorita en el puesto de frontera pensó lo mismo (ya les contaré mañana).
