I’m going to cheat a little today. I know the theme is ‘triangle’ and I couldn’t come up with anything for this week’s PhotoHunt. In fact, I would have rather discuss our beautiful Good Friday service yesterday, in which we performed James Whitbourn’s “Son of God” Mass… because we were great! :-)
Then, while I was looking at the pictures and videos (all of them either from Kitchener’s Trinity United Church Facebook group or its Youtube channel, and all of them taken by Michael Sellick), I said to myself: “Wait a second… doesn’t that red thing we have on top of our gowns have a triangular shape?”. I had my excuse to cheat today! :-))))
Please bear with me, I’m so proud of my church choir (it’s not your average one!). I hope you enjoy the videos… I’m the big guy on the top right corner (yes, that one that moves all the time).
Voy a hacer trampa hoy.
Loved this part – Me encantó esta parte
Just before the service – Justo antes del servicio
This is what made me sad, the low attendance. They don’t know what they missed…
See the bucket in the second picture? At the end of the service, each one of us dropped a nail in it, symbolizing that Christ died on the cross for us.
The ‘clang’ heard every time somebody dropped one was just overwhelming. You can watch that video here.
All pictures and videos by Michael Sellick – Thank you for a great job, Michael!
