I missed the Weekly Winners post last week! I was tired, and I had just come back from my trip. I thought I didn't have anything to post, until I realized I had those pictures I had taken on my way back home. You see, I was driving on I-219 near Springville, NY, when I saw this huge bridge I drove on. Right next to it, they were building an even bigger bridge, this one for trains. It was so impressive that I actually stopped ahead and came back walking to take a few pictures. Unfortunately, my camera ran out of batteries after the first shot, so the rest were taken with my cell phone.
Hopefully, you will see the bridge over a 50+ metres cliff, and a crane that is easily the biggest I have ever seen. I suffer from acrophobia, so it was really hard for me to take these pictures standing on a bridge that had a fence that was as high as my knees...
This is the good one... Doesn't make justice to the altitude - Esta es la foto buena... no le hace justicia a la altura
I guess the cell phone pictures are decent enough...
