Today's winners come from the little (and beautiful) town of Tweed, Ontario
We were on our way back from Skootamatta Lake, when we saw these fire hydrants so beautifully decorated.
I stopped every 100 metres to take pictures (it was raining, so some are not too good). I hope you like them!

Those are soo awesome! I have seen this done before, the ones that you have here are great. Too bad we don't have anything like that around here. I think they are so much nicer than a regular ol hydrant.

ReplyDeleteThose are so much fun! Thanks for the tour.I am from the Dallas area and a few years ago they did this with cow sculptures (since it's TX, I guess...)and they were all over the city. It was fun to spot them around town.

ReplyDeleteThose are adorable! I love things like that. Sometimes I'll see a big water tower painted something interesting when we travel. There's one in Georgia that is painted to look like a peach. That last one is my favorite! :-)

ReplyDeleteCute hydrants! We have painted penguins all over our city. I want to say they were originally to advertise a new exhibit at our zoo, but I don't remember for sure. I do know they were raffled off and businesses from all over the city paid a pretty penny to 'adopt' them.
