Manic Monday #28

Question #1 - How would your friend describe you to someone who has never seen you?

I guess it would go like this: "He's a big guy with a beard; he always seems to be in a good mood, and he's quite smart. He loves to sing, and he will never stop talking about either soccer or his kids; or his kids playing soccer. He will never stop talking, period." :-)

 

Question #2 - Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?

I'm not sure what this question is aiming at. I never feel I need 'protection', because I've been my own man since I can remember. But there's a group of people I can put my hands on fire for, and that includes my brothers and some of my closest friends (like Charlie & Laura, Ken & Joyce, Francisco & Johanna, Kathy & Bob and many others). I know they will always be there for us whenever we need help

 

Question #3 - If you died or went missing, who would miss you?

My wife and kids for sure. They still depend on me a lot (well, some of my kids do). Other than them, I guess my family and the many, many friends I have. I was going to say 'the people in my choir', but I have missed so many rehearsals and services in the past few months that I wonder if they still need me! :-)

 

 

 

Pregunta #1 - Cómo te describiría un amigo a alguien que nunca te ha visto? 

Creo que sería algo así: "Es un tipo grandote con barba; siempre parece estar de buen humor, y es bastante inteligente. Le gusta cantar, y nunca para de hablar de fútbol o sus hijos, o de sus hijos jugando al fútbol. Nunca para de hablar, en realidad." :-)

 

Pregunta #2 - Confías en alguien para que te proteja? Quién, y por qué?

No sé si entiendo hacia dónde va esta pregunta. Nunca siento que necesite 'protección', porque me he valido por mi mismo desde hace mucho tiempo. Pero hay un grupo de gente por los que puedo poner las manos en el fuego tranquilamente, que incluye a mis hermanos y a algunos de mis amigos más cercanos (como Charlie & Laura, Ken & Joyce, Francisco & Johanna, Kathy & Bob y muchos otros). Sé que siempre estarán allí por nosotros, si llegamos a necesitar ayuda.

 

Pregunta #3 - Si murieras o desaparecieras, quién te extrañaría?

Mi esposa e hijos seguramente. Ellos todavía dependen mucho de mí (bueno, al menos algunos de mis hijos). Fuera de ellos, calculo que mi familia y los muchos amigos que tengo. Iba a agregar 'la gente de mi coro', pero me he perdido tantos ensayos y servicios en los últimos meses que me pregunto si todavía me precisan! :-)
