My Technorati authority jumped from 110 to 140! It's mostly due to two things: 1) Me hosting the Carnival of Family Life on June 2nd, and 2) the Linky Love thing in which I participated with Yenny. So there, in case anybody wants to minimize this modest success once again ("of course, it's only because you write in English"), I just did it before you got the chance. Blogalaxia is still listing me as their third most popular Spanish blog in Canada (out of 79 registered). Once again, this is due to the method they employ to calculate the blog's popularity. If we only talk about visits, I'm currently in 11th position. This 'popularity' method allows my blog to be challenging for the top position some blogs that have 5 times more visits than mine, and consistently beating others.
My Wordless Wednesday is still driving me lots of traffic, and so is Sarcastic Mom's Weekly Winners. But I'm proud to report that only three of my posts so far this year haven't had any comments. So it seems that what I write interests some people! My "Where were you" game wasn't too successful, so I finished it already. My "Stealing posts" bi-weekly series will come back this week!

I have good plans for the month of June. It's going to be a month filled with soccer -of course!- and I will be travelling as well, so I will make sure I take great pictures! In addition to this blog, I'm also working on my team's (the "Waterloo Panthers") and participating of Santi's and Juan's. Even Carolina has started one, but I can't remember the URL.
Guess who the winner was this month! Yes, of course, it was Mike, from Pehuajó, Argentina (author of "Pehuajeando pa'l mundo", and major tyrant of the "Poyita"). But there were many changes in the top 10! He was followed by Mariposa and Asia'h Epperson and Jean from Penny Lane shared the 3rd place. Biddie is still there, and she took the 5th spot, along with my Mexican friend Héctor Torres.
It seems that it's going to get harder for Mike to win this month, because both Biddie and Martin and Lorena are presenting fight now! Speaking of these last two, I strongly recommend you visit their weblog, "Travesías..." It's one of the most interesting and original I've seen in a while (all in Spanish, though).
We had many new readers, and lots of commentators. I received comments from 200 different people this month, and they left 436 comments! Thank you all!
Epa! Se me atrasó este post! Lo tenía casi hecho, pero me olvidé de publicarlo. Nos fue mejor en Mayo, con más visitas que el mes anterior, y muchos comentarios! Algunos de mis lectores habituales estaban de franco, pero otros -como Biddie- ya están de vuelta!
Mi autoridad en Technorati saltó de 110 a 140! Así que ahí tienen, en caso de que alguno quiera minimizar mi modesto éxito una vez más ("claro, vos porque escribís en inglés"), ya lo hice antes de que tuvieran chance. Blogalaxia me sigue listando como el tercer blog canadiense en español más popular (de 79 que hay registrados con ellos). Por supuesto, en este caso, es debido al método que usan para calcular la popularidad del blog. Si hablamos de visitas, estoy en el undécimo puesto (nada mal tampoco). Pero esta 'popularidad' permite que mi blog esté peleando por las primeras posiciones con dos blogs que registran cinco veces más visitas que el mío, y que a algunos les gane siempre.

Tengo buenos planes para el mes de Junio. Va a ser un mes plagado de fútbol -por supuesto!- y voy a viajar también, así que me voy a asegurar de sacar buenas fotos! Además de este blog, también estoy trabajando en el de mi equipo (los "Waterloo Panthers") y participando de los de Santi y Juan. Hasta Carolina empezó uno, pero no recuerdo el URL.

Parecería que se va a complicar la cosa para el Mike este mes, porque tanto Biddie como Martin y Lorena le están presentando batalla! Hablando de éstos últimos, les recomiendo mucho que pasen por su blog, "Travesías..." Es uno de los más interesantes -y originales- que he visto últimamente.
