The Chef over at Friday's Feast took the day off and invited us to come up with our own Feast this week.
Luckily, StoneGirl picked it up and came up with her own set of questions very quick!
Appetizer - What is your favourite vacation spot in the United States?
I have never been on vacation in the United States, unless I'm visiting my brother who lives in Virginia. So I will go with the place I would like to go to on holidays with the kids: Orlando, Florida. You know why, do you? :-)
Soup - If someone else (friend, co-worker, family) brings up a religious or political topic, how likely are you to join the conversation, on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = not likely, 10=very likely).
I would say a 9 or 10. I'm very likely to get involved, because I know how tolerant and respectful I am. I'm not likely to get into a heated discussion, let alone a fact because of subjects like that.
Salad - What song do you listen to when you feel very sad?
Maybe Chopin's waltzes, they always make me feel good. I also have a song that makes me sad every time I listen to it; it's a very old song by the late French singer Claude François called "Le téléphone pleure" (The telephone cries). It was a very sad conversation between a father and his little daughter, who does not know who she is talking to.
Main Course - Someone you really admire is coming over for a home-cooked dinner. What do you serve him/her?
Other than barbecue (something I seem to be pretty good at), I would reply "Spanish paella". It has never disappointed anybody! :-)
Mine are smaller than the one in the picture, though...
Dessert - If the only form of transportation left in the world is by animal (horse, mule, camel), where would you live?
I would definitely live in the Argentine Pampas. And I would ride a horse!
Great questions today, StoneGirl!
I smiled at your main course...I love Paella and never think to cook it enough...great feast...
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious feast! So what's your favorite vacation spot in Canada?
ReplyDeleteGood question, Karen. Of the places I know, I guess it would probably be either Sauble Beach or Wasaga Beach (both in Ontario).
ReplyDeleteBut Canada is so big, and there's so many places I still haven't visited (or have no idea of)...
