Manic Monday #06


How did you celebrate your last birthday?
Very quietly, actually. It fell on a Wednesday, so Gaby was teaching that evening; I took the kids and my mother-in-law to Benny's for dinner. Nothing compared to my 40th birthday bash last year!

What's the last thing you bought yourself, just for fun?
H601_3 I believe that would be the blue tooth headset I bought for my cell phone. I accept it, it's really useful when I have to attend teleconferences while I'm driving (and that's been happening a lot!), but it was mostly for two reasons:
  1. To pretend that I'm cool, at least in my mind.
  2. To put it on whenever Gaby is around, and pretend I have been wearing it all day, because she hates that thing! :-)

What would the child you once were think of the adult you have become?
I think he would be amazed, because I never thought I would accomplish anything important as an adult. And look at me now!

    I got married on my 40th birthday!

    I just bought a headset for my cellphone. It makes such a difference!

    I have Bluetooth in my car and the first call I got scared the daylights out of me. I didn’t know at the time but I had it set to auto-answers before any rings, so I was driving along talking to a friend with me when all of a sudden a voice came over the radio calling my name. I yelled out “What the heck?” (my exact words were a little more colorful) before I realized it was my phone; I now have it set for two rings before auto-answer.

    Sounds like we have a little in common. Technology~I have a bluetooth headset, but must admit I haven't used it in awhile. Sounds like you have to use yours. And our inner child would be proud of us. A Zune is like an ipod but it is easier for me to navigate. maybe I will edit my post and add a pic of one. Thanks for stopping by! Much appreciated!

    I don't have a bluetooth for my blackberry..i mainly use it for email and texting...i bet you look tres cool !
