Names, ages and soccer jerseys, from left to right:
* Santiago, 12, Estación Quequén (from Necochea, Argentina) * Florencia, 4, Argentina National Team * Carolina, 10, San Lorenzo de Almagro (from Buenos Aires, Argentina) * Juan, 9, Boca Juniors (from Buenos Aires, Argentina)
As usual, Florencia wins my heart. Is the one and only with a jersey that worth. In second place runs San Lorenzo's jersey, only because Ramon (SL coach). Estacion Quequen? Does it ever exists? It seems like Banfield's jersey (another argentine soccer team)... ok, I give to it the third place. But... Boca's? It's offensive... I would accept a Velez's one, but that? How do you permit that?
Thanks to everybody! A few personalized answers...
Paco, pictures are on their way.
Mike, Santi told me he was going to give Florencia a Velez shirt, but I wanted to have jerseys with stripes. That's why Juan has that terrible shirt instead of Independiente's all-red , which seems to be the team he likes these days...
Hi Gabriel - I keep checking back hoping the pictures will load, but for some reason all I get to see are three long horizontal rectangles with the captions... I bet they're fabulous - yours always are!
Yay!! They loaded this time : ) Maybe the problem was on my end... we've been having snow flurries last night and this morning and my connection hasn't been exactly optimal.
You picked the perfect caption - LOL! I'm loving that last photo and your youngest's expressions in the last two just crack me up : D
I had to show these photos to my husband. When they were children, he and his brothers always used to make faces in photos. We can hardly find one with all straight faces. These are terrific. Santiago's face in the last photo is my favorite.
Perfect! That's a beautiful group of children, Gabriel!
RYQ: The last picture is of the inside of a sculpture that we saw at the sculpture park on Monday. The whole thing looks like stone, with a few randomly placed red plastic pieces. One of them acts like a skylight on top and a tunnel is hollowed out of the stone up to the skylight. Pretty cool!
