If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?
What a strange question! I would pick: a) Alaska, so the combination of my first and last name become impossible to pronounce without dislocating your jaw; or b) North Dakota, because that is the only of the 50 states I haven't received a visitor from.
Where do you go for advice?
Nowhere, really. I don't personally believe in shrinks (I'm on the opposite side of the road, me being an IT guy), but I understand and accept that they can be beneficial to other people. Whenever I needed advice, I would talk to either my father or my wife (or both), so I guess that my answer would be 'my wife'. But we have such an open communication that it's hard to feel that I'm asking her for advice. Every important decision is made by the two of us together.
What is the sickest you've ever been?
I'm not somebody who gets sick very often, thankfully. I would say that the sickest I have ever been was when I was recovering from my car accident, back in January 1995. I was in bed for several months, as I broke my hip and was unable to walk. But I have talked about this already!
Manic Monday
Wonderful blog and I like your MM post!
ReplyDeleteDidn't think about that regarding "Alaska"...lol
A big ouchie to the broken hip! I hope you're doing okay now...take care! Great first feast! *HUGS & SMILES*
ReplyDeleteYour baby makes me look like a baby! It took me forever to recover... I look forward to getting to know you better! Hasta Pronto
ReplyDeleteMy daughter made EVERYBODY look like a baby that day! I know that recovery is much easier when you're a little kid, but this was just too much!
ReplyDeleteThere were two more girls in the room, which were crying or complaining about how much it hurt while Florencia was either eating or playing or watching TV.
Their mothers sure looked envious... :-)
Thanks for your comment, I look forward to visiting you often as well!
My hubby likes Alaska but the problem it is very very cold so i dont like it....Happy MM!
ReplyDeleteNorth Dakota is really just an urban legend. No one really lives there - most logical explanation for your lack of North Dakotan visitors! :-) hehehe
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
I knew it, Tiffany! A friend of mine used to say the same about the Argentine province of Formosa.
ReplyDeleteHe claimed that it didn't really exist, and it was an invention of the media, because there were no big cities, or anybody famous coming from Formosa. I do know Formosa exists, though, but I started to wonder about North Dakota... :-)
Twinklemom, Laura, Genny: thank you all for your comments as well.
ReplyDeleteY a partir de hoy te bautizamos... Gabriel "Meme" Almada!
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo...
Meh. No sé.
thanks for the visit. your lucky to be healthy!
ReplyDeleteDonde dice "virsico" debería decir "virósico"...
ReplyDeleteOur answers are strangely similar. =))
ReplyDeleteIf i had to be named after one of the 50 states i would probably choose Carolina or Louisiana.
ReplyDeletethat's really great about you and your wife being so open with each other and deciding together when it comes to important situations. :)
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting my MM! :)
