Un día muy productivo hoy. Terminé la instalación de Solaris, y luego instalé el software de Agfa. Todo funcionó muy bien, pero después me preocupé porque no podía ver la aplicación que corre en el server desde ninguna máquina. Me preguntaba que podría pasar, pero no pude encontrar la solución. De todos modos, sabía que era un problema menor, ya que todo lo demás funcionaba bien.
Estuve solo todo el día, llegando a las 11:00 y yéndome a las 17:00. Una vez en el hotel, llamé a un par de colegas para preguntarles por el problema que tenía, y luego me fui a nadar (y cómo nadé!).
A eso de las 10:00 PM salí a caminar, yendo hasta un supermercado en donde compré café, coca-cola, agua y dos porciones de pizza que se convirtieron en mi única comida del día. Me acosté satisfecho por el trabajo hecho, pero aún con este problema en la cabeza. Mañana será otro día.
Today was a productive day. I finished the installation of Solaris, and then I installed the Agfa sofware. Everything worked well, but later on I got worried because I couldn't see the application that runs on the server from any machine. I wondered what could be happening, but I couldn't find the reason. I still knew it was a minor problem, anyway, since everything else was working fine.
I was alone at the hospital all day, arriving at 11:00 and leaving at 17:00. Once I got back to the hotel, I called a couple of people to ask them about the problem I had, and then I went swimming (and boy did I swim!).
Around 10:00, I went out walking, and I went to a supermarket where I bought coffee, coke, water and two slices of pizza that became my only meal of the day. I went to bed satisfied for a job well done, although I still had this problem in my mind as I fell asleep. Tomorrow will be another day.
